Hualnne Handicap.-Brown Bill 1, Passion Fruiti 2, Crown Prince 3. Won by half a length. Time, 2min 6seo. Dividend, £7 16s Summer Handicap.—The Hempie 1, Cherrystone 2, Palaver 3. Momohaki and Amonmix were scratched. Won by a neck. Time, 2min isec. Dividend, £Q Gs.
Telegraph Handicap.--Marianthns 1, Mustella 2, Wai-iti 3. Lady Link and Myra were scratched. Won easily. Time, lmiu 19 3-saec Dividend, £1 14s.
Railway Handicap.—Amoureux 1, Cora Linn 2, Donovan 3. Time, lmin 19 l-ssec. Dividend, £5 9s.
Scurry Handicap.—Robin Gray I, Mariimthus 2, Roer 3. A protest for boring was dismissed Dividend, £7 11s. High-weight Handicap.—Calceolaria 1, Regret 2, Daphne 3. Time, lmin 17 l-ssec. Dividend £•[ 13s. . '
Tho sum of £3573 was put through the totalisator, making a total of £7E62 for the two clays.
- RIVERSDALE HACK MEETING.
A successful hack race meeting was held at Riversdale on Wednesday (say 6 our Gore corresijondent). Tho attendance was small, owing to the unsettled appearance of the weather in" the morning, when very heavy rain fell. The following are the results: — Maiden Plate—Lady 1, Torrent 2, Bonser 3. Two-mile Trot.—Bessie 1, Lee 2, Mataura 3. Shorts.—Colleen 1, Lady 2, Torrent 3. Waimea Plains Handicap.—Bonser 1, Diablerie 2.
Mile Trpt,—Little Jim 1, Matanra 2.. Flying Handicap.—Colleen 1, Diablerie 2.
Consolation.—Diablerie 1, Marie 2.
