(Received August 9, at 9.15 a.m.) The Legislative Assembly have passed the Amending City Corporation Bill with unimportant amendments. The Post Office annual report shows that the expenditure exceeded the receipts by over £9000. The Government Savings Bank report shows good increases in the mimber. of depositors and the amount of deposits. . The total deposits are £5,484,000. THE VANISHING ABORIGINALS. (Received August 10, at 0.35 a.m.) There are 6892 full and half-blood aboriginals in the colony. The full bloods have decreased from 6540 in 1882 to 3203. THE COAL FAMINE.
