SUICIDE OF A CHINAMAN.

REEFTON, September 8.

A Chinaman named Loe Yet, for whom a warrant was.issued for assaulting a European, was found hanging to a rafter in his hut. Deceased made deliberate preparations for the suicidal act, having carefully arranged himself in festive attire. He had long been regarded as insane, and was carefully avoided by any pedestrians who had occasion to travel in the vicinity of his claim.
