ALLEGED PRIZE FIGHT.
THE PRINCIPALS FINED.

CHRISTCHURCH, January 23.
At the Police Court this morning Otto Simpson and George Mussen, two of the principals in the alleged recent prize fight, were each fined £5 and costs. The charge was amended to that of common assault, to which both accused pleaded guilty.
Of six other men charged with aiding and abetting in the assault in connection with the prize fight; three'who were supposed to have acted as second, referee, and time-keeper were each fined £2. The cases against the others were dismissed.
