THE WEATHER.
(Per United Press Association.) Invercauchll, August ?. . Heavy snow has been falling all day, and early this morning the tram service had to be suspended.. A private telegram from Five Rivers states that the snow is l'Bin ! deep there. The trains all arrived nearly up j to time table to-day. The weather is still j (11 p.m.) very'heavy', and it is thick over- j head, arid looks' as if more snow is likely to i fall. All the rivers are in small flood, and ' should,a thaw set in quickly big floods will be reported. So far there are no reports ; as to the loss of. stock in the back country, ! though the fall must have been very heavy I there.
