In view of their approaching match with ths Linwood at Christchurch at Easter, the Uaioa Club hold a practice match on the Kaikorai ground, a full muster being requested. Through the courtesy of the Ravensbonrnt Football Club the Alhambra will play a practicj match at Ravensbourne on Saturday. A full muster is requested.

A cricket match was played between the Times Office and Telegraph., Office yesterday, snd resulted, after a very close game, in.» victory for the Telegraph by 9 runs. The Times scored 59 in tlioir only innings, of which number Minn (16), Ferguson (13), and Pierce (10) were the chief scorers. The Telegraph replied with 68, tbe principal scorers being Beck (37), Faults (13), and M'Lennan (10). The bowling honours were carried off by Fer« gußon for the Times and Beck for the Telon graph, both having very good averages.
