SCHOOL SWIMMING TOURNAMENT.

The annual swimming tournament of tht Port Chalmers District High School was successfully carried out in the Corporation Baths on Wednesday afternoon. The attendance was very fair, bnt several cold showers that fell during the afternoon doubtless prevented others attending. Messrs Bennie and M'Lymout acted as judges, and Messrs Mackie and Hunter made efficient starters. The following are the results :—

Learners' Race, 50yds.—D. Lee 1, B. Kirkwood 2. 100 yds (under 16).— W. Dale, Bsec, 1; A. Cable, Back Swimming, 50yds.—W. Waters 1, A. Cabin 2. Won rather easily. Long Dive.-W. Dale 1, D. Jack 2. lOOyus (under U).—G. Honeybone 1, C. Mooney
