SUICIDE AT AUCKLAND.
(Per United Peess Association.) Auckland, February 18. William Parkinson, aged 38, of Cnrran street, PoasoDby, ch6 his throat with a table knife in his room, and subsequsntly died of the injuries. He was formerly in the employ of the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, and latterly in the Waihi Gold Miniug Company's office, Auckland. He had been in a state of melancholy and ill-health for months past. Ho leaves a widow. ■
