Sia, —I take advantage of your cslnmcs io air a grievance now of too long standing. Does it not seem out of all ivason for our only regular monthly mail to he delayed so long between Auckland nnd Duntdin ? The mail is due here "n Sstutdisy eyening, aud notwithstanding the fact that the Monowai arrived »t Auckland a full day before time there was no f-ign of the mail ou ..Saturday eveuing and no notice given of iU delay. And further, I called for important letters on Sunday evening after 8 o'clock only to find uo mail. Surely some little bttVr arrangement than this ran be made.—l am, &0., Danedin, July 22. Monowai.
