SPORTING.
The following team will represent the Rangers A in their match with the Zealandia on the Exhibition ground to-day :—Koeber, O'Connor, Rogers, Reid, M'Lachlan, Hilgendorf, Adam?, Peters, Sligo, Price, Hilliker; emergencies—Galloway, Parkinson. The Rangers B play a practice match on the Queen's Park ground. At the annual meeting of the Wellir.gton Rowing Clnb the balance sheet showed the club to he iv a sound financial position. Mr A. S. Paterson retired from the position of captain, and Mr W. Ross was elected to the position. Mr A. M. Burns was re-elected secretary. The secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council bas received the following cable message from the secretary of the New South Wales Cricket Association :—"Decided to send team. Letter following." This will be the first occasion on which a representative team has been ssnt to New Zealand under the auspices of the New South Wales Association.
The acceptances for the Dunedin Amateur Trotting Club's Winter meeting close at Wain's Hotel ta-night.
