The property is situated on the slopes of the baautful range of hills east from the city of Adelaide, and is justly famous throughout Australasia for the fine flavour and excellent quality of its wines. Owing to the exceptional advantages of soil and great care exercised in collar management, the wines are clear, bright, and thoroughly sound. Penfold's wines have been remarkably successful at exhibitions, having obtained nearly 400 first awards, whilst at the ' Adelaide wine show held in October last they gained 11 first prizes, the next most successful axhibitor only receiving four first awards. Mr Watson, the proprietor City Meat Company, Rattrsy street, intimates that the report appearing in Saturday's Daily Times (Feb. 9) on slaughter houses doeß not refer to his elanghteiing premises, and the public can rely on obtaining sound, pure, and healthy meat (and duly inspected) from his shops.—[Advt.] INTERESTING DISCOVERY. The American Government has instructed a noted analyst to examine and report upon certain mineral springs, which have been recently discovered to have an extraordinary curative effect in caees of rheumatism and other complaints. A voluminous report has been already laid before the recent Medical Congress, from which it would appear that most marvellous cures have been undoubtedly effected, and the investigation of ths Government analyst is, therefore, looked forward to with great interest. Sequah's Cure is composed of the carefully concentrated water of one of these springs, combined with certain botanic extraots, and is therefore a natural, safe, and effectual remedy for all kinds of rheumatism, sciatica, lumbago, kidney disease, pains in the back, and dropsy. It also cures indigestion, biliousness, and constipation. The result of this remedy, when used in conjunction with Sequah's Oil, has been so remarkable as to have occasioned con: siderable public interest.—[Advt.]
