SUICIDE AT AUCKLAND.

Auckland, January 29,
Frederick Zanke strangled himself in the Eden terrace police station early this morning. He was locked up at 5 a.m. for robbing flower gardens, and at 7.30 was found dead, having made a rope of his shirt and tied one end to the grating in his cell and the other round his throat.
