AMBULANCE LECTURES FOR WOMEN.

Sir,—With reference to the ndvertisemont that appeared in your issuo this morniDg to tbe effoct that a course of lectures on " first aid" will ba given st the university, commencing 27 th inst, kindly allow mo space to state that such was not inserted under fcheauthoriiy of the St. John Association, and to prevent misunderstanding and probably subsequent disappointment to those who intend purchasing tickets, I would add that no certificates will be granted to anyono by St. John's unless they are members sod attend classes under the auspices of that association. On Thursday last a committee was appointed to manage classes for women, who will in duo course decide when Buoh olasses will be inaugurated,—l am, &c, MV. B. FISHEH, Hon. Sec S J.A.A.
