(Fbom Our Own Correspondent.) Juno 8. The long-continued dry weather has caused tho pasture to be burn*; up, and the root crops are looking anything but favourable. I am afraid the coming winter will prove a hard one for etock of all kinds. Saturday last was an extremely bitter day, and could hardly be excelled in midwinter-heavy nouth-woit equalls of wind, rain, hail, and snow prevailing. But the weather served out to us was nothing ti what it was further up country.
