A BIBLICAL QUESTION.
TO TIIH EDITOB, Sib, Mr Hannington Bays that he considers that what is still going on in Jerusalem is an exact fulfilment of tho prophecies contained in the 38th and 40th varses of tho 31st chapter and the 43 rd and 44 th verses of the 32nd chapter of Jeremiah. Will Mr Hanuington or anyone else explain the moaning of these propheoies contained in the ICth, 17th, and more especially the 18th verses of tho 33rd chapter ot Jeremiah. 16th verse: "In those days shall Judah be saved and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our Righteousness." 17th:" For thus saith the Lord, David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the House of Israel. 18th " Neither shall the priests the Levites want man before me to offer burnt offerings, and t kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice contiuually" Where then is Christ's sacrifice i 1 Sir, I am no scoffer, but ono most anxious to learn the truth—l am,4c, May 13. iNQQiian.
