/ A LADY EVANGELIST. A communication vr.s received from the committeo of the V.JI.C A. stating that Mra Eaeyertz, a converted 3'ewess, would shortly conduct an evangelistic mission in this uity. Mr Don seconded the motion, and said that Mrs Baeyertz was well aud favourably known in Victoria. A notice of motion by the Key. J. M. Sutherland rc^nrdinig entrance and exit examinations in conn- ction with Theological Hall was brought up, but Mr outherl&nd being absent it was ordered to stand over till next meeting. SIR D. WRIGHT'S VISIT HOJIK. Key. Vir Siuakt said the presbytery would be aware that Mr Duncan Wright, who had beencloaey identified with the Presbyterian Church in the colony, but especially iv Otago, lor many years, was about to visit the old country fr>r the benefit of hia health. Yet the last nine months Mr Wright had been sufferirg more or less, sometimes from a partial deafness and sometimes from a relaxed throat, ■ and hia friends had urged him to take a rest which would quite restore him. He would leave vest month, and he (the speaker) was euro llmt the mem- j bers of the presbytery, who hatl known him as one j of themeelvesj as a member of svood, and as an evangelist, would at once ask that Uod might bless his voyage and restore him to health, so that he might further enrry on his good work.
