Mobitzson A!fD Hopkin, grain, produce, and com mission agents, Manse Btreet, Duuedin, report for the week ending October 16 as follows: - Wheat: Market unaltered here, although Home reports Bhow an improvement. Milling Tmcans, 3s 7d to 3a 8d; otuer sorts, 3a 2d to 3a SJ. Fowls' wheat: In fair demand; good whole, 2s lUd to 3s; broken and inferior, 2s Ed to 2s Bd. Barley : Very little inquiry and values nominal; malting, 3s 2d to 3s 6d; milling, 2s 6d to 3s. Oats: Market shows no improvement, but we are under the impression that thiß cereal will recover a few pence ere long. Best milling, la 10d to 2s; bright, plump feed, Is 8d to Is lOd; oft colour and musty, Is to Is Bd. Flour: Timaru roller, £9; Oamaru, town brauds, £3 10b ; Southern stone, £8. Oatmeal: Long ton in bulk, £12;25'b, £12, nominal. Bran, £3. Sharps, £4. Potatoes: Best .liamaru, ecarco, £5 to £5 ss; medium, £1 to £110s; Southern, £1 Ss to £l 10s. Pigs : Well-fed up to 1801b, -Id to 4jd. Cunfl: Wellcut heavy oaton,'£-J 10a to £3 153; medium, £2 Ids to £3 Ss. Turnips, 17s. Carrots, -103. Straw, oateu and wheaten, 40s.
