OUR VOLUNTEERS.
Tho First Battalion of Otago Rifle Volunteers and the Ordnance Battalion paraded last night, and were put through brigade drill. The' Hon. Mr Fergus, accompanied by the Hon. Mr Fisher, were present while the men were being drilled, and after lha parade Mr Fergus addressed the officers, aud expressed himself weh satisfied with the manner in which the movements had been gone through, and also with the physique of the volunteers. The parade state was as follows:
