A DARING ROBBERY.

A daring jewel robbery waa perpetrated some timo last night or early ( thia morning at Jeuness' jeweller's shop, The robbers effected an entrance at tbe back of the building by cutting out a panel of tbe door and then turning the key. They carried a locollyinanufactured lantern, which had been arranged bo as to be darkened. They took 26 gold watchea, 40 silver watches, 20 solid gold alberta, 15 English alberta, 20 ladies' gold alberta, 40 to 50 gold necklets, 24 silver neckletß, 12 ladiea' silver alberts, 6 dozen silver rings, 12 gold broochea and earrings (including 5 diamond sets), 12 gold and diamond scarf pins. The total lobb ia estimated at between £1500 and £2000.
