• The Opera House was crowded last night- for the initial screening of the latest "of Mack '_ Sennet's Keystone comedies, "The Snow Cure," featuring Ford- Sterling, Seymour Hicks, and Elaine Terris. Ford! Sterling and a number of friends go to California, among the snows, where Sterling decides that: he needs sanatorium treatment. So the doctor straps him to a .-table, clad in a bathing suit, and •turns a bear loose in, the room. Then ibe.fun begins,'aiid the ludicrous sight of Ford Sterling and a great collection of fat- and' lean -people being chasedround; the snowy country side in bathing suits by.-.-a hear:fairly hyfcs the house. ". The .bear itself is a remarkably well-trained--animal, seeming to possess .almost-human, intelligence. The supporting fil'msffire well selected.
