Secondary Schools Conference.
(BY TELEGRAPH.) Chkistchukch, January 22. At the Secondary School Conference this morning, Mr G. Hogben read a paper on "The Natural Method of Teaching Language." The remainder of the session was occupied with the discussion of the paper. At the afternoon sitting a committee was appointed to draw up suggestions to be forwarded to the Minister for Education in regard to the Endowed Schools Bill. A committee, consisting of all the members present, was set up to consider a scheme for the examination of secondary schools.
