{BY TELEGKAPH.) Wellington, January 24. At the Ram and Ewe Fair there were about . 1200 entries. The best prices obtained were : For one 4-tooth Romney Marsh, on account of Hon. M. Holmes, to Mr A. Matthews, of Featherston, at 28 guineas , one stud 4-tooth on account of Mr John Reid, of Elderslie, at 12 guineas, purchased by Mr J. Martin. Two very fine Romneys, the property of Mr A. C. Lang, realised 10 guineas each.
