Dear "Truth," — I wish to state a. ease Which came under my notice last night re people preferring: to deal from Chinamen instead of their own race, especially at this stage" of unemployment, when they know, or should know that practically all John's . profits are socked away. Standing outside a white man's fruit shop after the pictures were closed I noticed a good many people purchasing goods, at a Chinaman's shop, whilst directly, opposite is. a. white man's fruit shop whicn was empty as Tegards to customers^ I made it my business to have a look at the prices, and found them practically the same. I then made a purchase of lib of apples from each. Result: white, found 0.X., yellow found two specks. Give the public another reminder. I am, etc., "CONSTANT READER."
