600 ON TWO SHIPS AVELLINGTON’S TOTAL. A total of 591 assisted .immigrants arrived at AVellington by the liners Corinthic and Remuera. The Corinthio brought 332, their destinations being as follow:—Auckland, 29 men, 30 women, 20 children, total 79; Napier, 3, 11, 6—20; New Plymouth, 2,3, 3—B; AVanganui, 0,1, 0—1; AVellington, 39, 45, 20—104; Greymouth, 3,2, 4 —9: Westport, 3. 3, 5—11; Lyttelton. 14. 23, 8—45; Timaru, 1,1, 4—6; Port Chalmers, 6, 15, 8—29; Bluff, 4,8, B—2o. The totals are: Men, 104; women, 142; children, 86; aggregate, 332. Included in the above are eight public school hoys. 12 girls for Flock House, and 39 domestics.

Totals are: Men. 118: women, 72; children, 69; aggregate, 269.
