CAUGHT BY BREAKER
YACHT CAPSIZES YOUTH LOSE® HIS LIFE. Pe'- Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, December 30. Ron Eden (18) residing at Grafton street, Linwqod, was drowned al Sumner this morning when a yaclit of which he was a member of the crew capsized.. The other five members were rescued in an exhausted condition. The capsize was caused by a heavy breaker. A scratch surf crew of three from the Sumner Life-Saving Club Went out, and after a long struggle,, brought the five youths ashore. Two Were unconscious for gome time. Eden’s body has not been recovered.
