FIFTY YEARS MARRIED
CELEBRATION ON MONDAY PRESENTATION TO HON. E. W. AND MRS ALISON. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 23. On Alonday the Hon. E. W. Alison and Mrs Alison will celebrate their golden wedding, and members of the Takapuna Jockey Club, with which Air Alison has been connected with since its inception, and who for many years pUfit has occupied the position of president, met this afternoon to make a presentation to Air and Airs Alison, ‘this took the form of a Westminster chiming grandfather’s clock which stands nearly seven feet in height, and a beautiful royal Worcester afternoon tea set iu black and gold. The presentation was made by Mr W. J. Ralph on behalf of the club.
