NURSES’ FUND
MEETING OF COMMITTEE INVESTMENTS InCKIiIASED. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 23. The ninth annual meeting of the New Zealand Nurses’ Memorial Fund was presided over by Sir Lindo Ferguson, who said they had still a dozen annuitants who were dependent on the fund. The committee had not expended the full income this year, and as the result of some windfalls they had been able to increase the amount of the investments, which were now £20,500. Sir George Fenwick said the fund was performing a fine service in the Dominion in assisting those nurses laid aside by age or serious illness. Lady Alice Fergusson was re-elect, ed patron.
