A banquet will be tendered them on Monday m the Moana Hotel, after which they will tour the island. Air Ernest Hill, the president, said the conference should accomplish much, as it was centred where world’s attention was now focussed. •The dates of the Pacific Rotaty Conference are May 25th, 20th and 27th. It had its genesis among Rotarians in Australia and New Zealand, who, more than two years ago, sent to Honolulu a suggestion for a meeting here. This was followed by correspondence with International Rotary headquarters, which gave hearty approval to the project. Immediately many Rotarians in all the Pacific countries began to prepare for the visit to Hawaii in May, 1926. The second district of International Rotary, embracing California, Hawaii, and Nevada, is organising a special excursion. The first district, which embraces Oregon. Washington, British Columbia, and Alaska, may run an excursion from Puget Sound. Rotarians from Japan, China, and the Philippines are also expected. The conference was so arranged that Rotarians will be able to travel from Honolulu to Denver in ample time for the International Rotary Convention at the Colorado capita] in Juno*
