INSULTING BRITISH FLAG
MAN PUNISHED IN SYDNEY INCIDENT IN DOMAIN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigit. SYDNEY, April 29. A man, named James Fletcher, was fined 10s or in default 48 hours' imprisonment, for insulting the British Hag. He was listening to a speaker in the Domain, and pointing to the flag flying above the platform, he said: “That dirty thing there is no protection to me.” He made other insulting remarks within the hearing of a police-sergeant, who arrested him.
