BABY’S OUTING
NEW TRANSPORTATION PLAN The Waiwetu road, a highway not noted for its resemblance to a Brussels carpet, was the scene of an amazing and novel sight on Saturday. A youthful married couple, living in the district, had decided to take their infant child out for a blow, and, being modern twentieth century people, they hit upon a novel plan for pushing, or rather propelling the pram. The parents mounted their push bikes and rode along at a fair rate with the pram between them. Each rode with one hand on a handle of the pram. The effect was certainly satisfactory, but whether this action would meet the approval of Sir Truhy King is open to discussion. The - road just there is particularly bumpy, and the baby must have received a jolting.
