The monthly meeting of the Levin Memorial Home was held on Tuesday, 9th, at the home, Berhampore. Miss Archibald presided. Also present were Mesdames Ba.rnett, Orr, McEldowney, Gillespie and Misses Greenwofid, Barry : and Morrah. - Routine business was transacted. The matron reported the health-of dhe children was most satisfactory. Gifts were received from Mesdames Barnett, Stnce, Tartakover, Gillespie, Christie Johnston and from Misses Barry, Morrah, Greenwood, Nurse Cpnipton, .Dr'H. J. Kcinp, and Mrs Brewin. Visitors to the home during the month were the Rev. N. S. : Barnett, Mrs MeC'nrroJl, of Pai merston North, Miss Fitzgerald, .Miss Bowden, Mrs M. Gieig, and Airs J. Wright. The committee which organised the successful outing given at Eastbourne last Sunday to the children' of St. Joseph s Orphanage .desires to tender their warm thanks to those ladies and gentlemen who so kindly lent their cars for tho occnsion, to the ladies of Eastbourne who assisted in the day’s arrangements, to those who gave donations, and to the Mayor of Eastbourne (Mr H. M. Jones) for his active Interest.
