IMMIGRANTS FROM SOUTH IRELAND
THE POSITION STATED. A correspondent “Packak,” writes asking the following questions: “Is there any law to prevent any person nominating an immigrant for New Zealand from the smith of Ireland? If there is not, whom do I apply to?” The position is that the Free State Government desires to prevent emigration from Ireland for a while, and has net come into *he Empire Settlement scheme.
