WEDDING AT PARAPARAUMU

A very popular and pretty wedding took , place at Sy. Paul’s, Church, Paraparaumu,., ou , Thursday last,' .when Miss Waggery was married to' Mr O. Brazier. The .Rev. Wilson officiated. The bride was given away by her brother Mr Hi. Vveggery; while Miss Ruth Brazier acted ae, bridesmaid 1 and Mr E. Brazier a* best man.’ ' After the .ceremony the reception v and’ wedting breakfast were .held, in the Sunday , schoolroom, where, a party; of relatives and friends met to a iiih the happy .couple the-best of good. fortune. The bride was dressed in ivory maroeain panelled with I'.idium, late, rind wore’ a head barid of silver Jeeves' and orange blossom,'with tulle ceil. Hot bouquet was of ' pink rose-buds and sweet peas, with sprays of maidenhair fern, .tied with tiule bow*, The bridesmaid, Aliss Brazier, wore lavender chcpo de chine, with hat to match, bhe carried a beautifill'"boiiquet. , Among those- proot-iib werti Mrs Williams, sister ' of- the, bride, - wearing a navy silk dresi with a' becoming hat; Aliss Ldfy Brazier, sitfver grey, costume; Aliss' Eva Biazier, blue morocnin dress ; with- silk,' fringe, and hat ot lemon- with blue trimmings ; Mrs : H. VVeggery, > blue morocain; Mis, .V. Weggery; grey, coat frock- with fur trimmings; Miss Siewart, white morocain and a becoming; hat; w Miss Hurren, fuji silk dree* embroidered, -with lavender and a hat of becoming.,shade; Mrs D. >F. Howell, figured morocain; and Mrs Reeve black cfepe de, chine. - The roon was beautifufly decorated with pale. blue hydrangeas and a ‘wedding. bell of pink geraniums made, by Miss Hurren. . ’.

The (toasts proposed were; “The Bride sod Bridegroom,!’ .Rev. Wilson, responded, to by the .bridegroom; “Bridefmaid,” proposed by Mr C. ’Reeve, responded to by .Mr E. Brazier; ‘‘The Parents,” proposed by Mr D, F. Howell, responded to' by Mr G. Brazier. , • , - The gift of the. bridegroom to . the bride was .a, beautiful marabout stole, while the hridesmaid was the recipient of a gold wristlet watch. ' The bridal couple, left in. the evening, and the bride travelled in a grey costume with .cyclamen coloured hat. Mr and Mrs Brazier intend spending their honeymoon in the South. ■
