MEANS TO IMPROVE THEM MANUFACTURERS TO MEET. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, December 17. At last evening’s meeting of the Canterbury Industrial Association, Mr W. J. Jenkin moved that a conference of all manufacturers in Canterbury lie called early in the New Year to devise ways of improving industries and overcoming the difficulties caused by the great volume of imports. The matter was referred to the Industries Week Committee.
