ON TRIAL FOR MURDER
HIS DOCTOR DIED SUDDENLY. (Sydnev "Sun" Cable.) CONSTANTINOPLE, August 6. The trial has commenced at Angora of the ex-Sultan of Turkey, who is living in Switzerland. He is charged with the murder of his doctor, Rechad Pasha, who accompanied the ex-Sultan to’ San Remo, where he was shot in the head with a revolver in March, 1924. It was reported that he committed suicide, but it is now believed that he was murdered for conniving at the Sultan’s downfall.
