“We never appeal to public" dr. G*ii~VIEWS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association* ! LONDON, July 23. Dr. Gye and Mr Barnard read papers on their discoveries in oanoer research before the conference of the British Medical- Association at Bath in camera. In an interview. Dr. Gye said: “We are seeking a prophylactic to make man and animals self-protected against cancer. We shall nave to consider the olaipis of vaccination In the search for immunity.” - Referring to the number of peoplo who were volunteering themselves I for experiment, Dr. Gye pointed out that experimenters always try human ox pariments first on themselves, then on their laboratory assistants, then' on their colleagues. “We never appeal to the public. In any case, we have" not yet thought of human experiments.”
