DAYTON HERESY HUNT
JUDGE ANXIOUS FOR A PICTURE COUNSEL DECLINES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association NEW YORK, July 19. Judge Raulston at Dayton agreed to accept affidavits outlining the scientific evidence for evolution for the purpose of completing the record of the trial of Scopes, for an appeal to a higher court. All that remains to be done on Monday is to hear argument and sentenoe Scopes. The Judge w'anted to have his picture taken with Mr William J. Bryan, counsel for the prosecution, on one side, and Mr Clarence Darrow, counsel for the defence, on the other, hut Mr Darrow sourly declined.
