PLAY AT MIRAMAR. Owing to the weather earlier in the week, the Miramar Club postponed their match with Ranui on Saturday, but ae the course was in fair order a scratch four-ball best ball bogey was put on, and was rushed by some 90 entrants, glad to get a gume after so many wet week-ends. Toeing up was allowed in all fairways (17 and 18 were not playable), and 1 and 2 holes were played twice, to get the full 18 holes. The following were the best scores, there being three pairs each with 6 up oil the Colonel:—L. D. Hurst and .1. Ritchie, R. P. Ward and A. R. Hamilton, J. H. Drake and R. A. Westbrook. The next best were:—G. Magnus nnd D, Moncur, 5 up; E. O. Hales and O. J. , Wilson, 5 up; J. T. Lewis and S. C. Stichbury, 5 upj H. Liddle and E. P. Loftus, 5 up: if. E. Alpin nnd R. W. Scott. 4 up; Max Frost nnd H. W. Frost, 4 up: .1. T. Tucker nnd 8. Gaiubrill, 0 up; 11. Page and A. J. Tongond, 3 up; | A. I). Carson and J. W. Clarke, 1 up; and tile following were all square: S. A. Longuet anil .1. P. Phillies. H. M. Fraser and 1. .1. Eglpi on. Colonel Hughes and T. K. Law son, A. Maisden and 11. 1 W. Atkinson.
