AN OPAWA WEDDING

At the Opawa Methodist Church recently the wedding was solemnised of Agnes, eldest daughter of Mr and Mis G. Wiseman, of Opawa, to Alfred Edward Wilson, of Takapau, Hawke’s Bay. . The bride, who was siven away by her father, was gowned in a classically cut frock of dove grey French marocain. Her hat of the same shade, in duvetyn, was relieved with hand-niade flowers of periwinkle blue. The bridesmaid, Miss Jeane Wiseman, sister of the bride, chose an effective frock in periwinkle blue satin with a smart cape of silver lace caught at the shoulders. The close-fitting' hat was of grey and blue panne velvet. The bridegroom was supported by Mr Norman Sebley, of Waipawa, as best man. The bride and bridegroom left in the evening for Auckland and Rotorua, and thence to their future home at Takapau.
