POWER TO STIPENDIARY STEWARDS.
"Wc are quietly passing a rule every year giving more and more power in the stipendiary stewards,” stated Mr W. T. Hazlett when speaking at the New Zealand Racing Conference yesterday, "and if we give then? much more to do. we might ns well turn over to them- the control of the whole meetings. We are getting to that now."
