A POLL DEFERRED
SUNDAY CHARGES TO ZOO. It has been definitely decided by the City Council that the question of whether Sunday chargee should be made at the Newtown Zoo will not be placed before ratepayers in April. Already it will be necessary to place before voters papers respecting the Mayoral, Council, Harbour Board, and Hospital Board elections, and also the voting paper for the big roading scheme, and, in view of the undesirability of further complicating the registering of votes, the poll upon ‘ the question ;,f Sunday charges is deferred.
