Viscount Attenby assembled at the Regency, in fcfie presence*of the principal officials,, presented Fred March, the lafce Sirdar’s chauffeur, with the silver medal of the Order of the British Empire, and also a cheque for 5000 Egyptian pounds. Viscount Allenby praised March’s remarkable. coolness and courage at the moment of the attack, and eaid he almost succeeded in saving the Sirdar's life.
