Ilott spoke of the real Rotarian welcome extended to. them at the conference in Sydney. They were a wonderful body of men, and had raised £12,000 for their hoys’ institute there. There were seven New Zealand delegates there, and they gained several excellent ideas on the conference. The? would be able to work better than ever with Australia for the good of Rotary. Every visitor had a Rotarian who was responsible for his comfort and welfare. They had several motor trips, sports, bridge parties, and business meetings* It was a delightful visit. The Sydney and Melbourne clubs had permanent secretaries with established headquarters. They had laid the foundation for tremendous developments in Rotary in both countries. It was arranged that a conference should be held in New Zealand in 1925, and to hold a Pan-Pacific conference* in Honolulu later. Several Australian Retarians were coming over to the conference in Wellington in February next. He was delighted to he hock, and considered the trip well worth while. During the interval “King Henry’s Song” tSullivan) was very sweetly rendered by Rotarian R. A. Loughnan, the company joining, in the chorus.
