LORI JELLICOE AT OAMARU
WAR MEMORIAL STONE LAID. Per .Association. * OAMARU, October 14-. The Governor-General Viscount Jellieoe, laid the foundation stone of the North Otago war memorial to-day, in the presence of a large gathering. The memorial, which is to cost £3OOO, will be erected in the main street. Major J. MfcDiarmid took the opportunity, on behalf of the citizens, to bid farewell to Their Excellencies. Lord and Lady Jellicoe and suite left for Christchurch by the express.
