DAYLIGHT SAVING
SPORTS PROTECTION LEAGUE. ■ The following resolution has been passed by the New Zealand Sports Protection League,:— “The Board of Control ,is of opinion that the inauguration of a system providing for daylight saving is desirable in the interests of the community, and invites sports bodies, organisations, and per, sons favourable to the reform to co-oper-ate with the Now Zealand Sports Protection League for the purpose of securing the passing of the necessary legislation during the next session 6f Parliament.” The league will arrange as soon as possible, in conjunction with other bodies, a largo and representative deputation to the Government to urge the introduction of a bill'carl- in tho session.
