AND THE BACON INDUSTRY.
At yesterday’s meeting of the Dominion executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union a committee was set up to act with representatives of the Dairy Farmers’ Union respecting the pig and bacon industry. It was decided to suggest to the Pig Breeders’ Association they should co-operate ill a movement for the control cf the bacon industry on the lines that had been adopted for dairy produce and frozen meat.
