SANDERS YACHT CUP
TRIAL RACE AT DUNEDIN. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, October 22. The second Sanders Cup trial race was sailed to-day. At tho outset a heavy sou’-wester was blowing, necessitating the careful handling of the boats. Heather, winner of Saturday’s race, struck the training wall, damaged her rudder, and retired after one round had been completed, after sailing a good raoe. The course was the same as that sailed on Saturday. Results:— June, 2hr 27sec, 1; Kia Ora. 2hr 53?ec, 2; lona, 2hr 4rain sQeec, 3; W inifred, 2hr Gmin 40sec, 4. The Eunice was fifth, Mona sixth, and Valma seventh.
