EXHIBITION MATCH AT AUCKLAND?
The Auckland Lawn Tennis Association has dispatched a cable, which will catch the Australian Davis Cup team at Suva, on their return journey by tfte R Mi?. Niagara, inquiring whether Mr J. B. Hawkes is with the team and available for the exhibition matches to be played at Stanlev street on Friday next The focal players included in the exhibition, Messrs E. L. Bartleet, H. L. Robson and E. W. Griffiths, have been getting into form over the week-end. and it will be interesting to see what progress they will make when matched with such noted performers as Messrs J. O. Anderson, lan Molnnes, R. Schlesinger, and possibly J. B. Hawkes.
