HOMELESS CHRISTIANS
“INTENSE SUFFERING.” Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, October 20. Archbishop Julius has received the following cablegram from Tokio: “Appreciate sympathy. We have lost 17 churches and 60 workers; and 450 Christian families are homeless, and have lost everything. Intense spiritual and physical suffering are before us.— Hoaslett, Shiba, Tokio.”
