CHINAMAN BEFORE COURT. “These charges are becoming too common, Your Worship,” declared Mr J. Hemery, assistant city solicitor, at the By-law Court yesterday, when an appearance was made by a Chinese market gardener at Miramar, answering to the name of Wah Hing, and who was fined with allowing offensive matter to accumulate on his property. Mr Hemery stressed the point that it waa necessary to keep these properties clean. “Tell the defendant,” said His Worship to the interpreter, “that he must keep his place clean, on account of that is stored there being 6old to the public.
